Who and What is Dino Design?
Who?
I’m Jenna- an artist, animator, and graphic designer from the state of Connecticut, USA, now currently practicing in Vancouver, BC. My background with creation and design spans as far back as I can recall. By the age of eight, I was utilizing Microsoft Paint to develop basic animations and Microsoft Word to design menus on our home computer. Many years later, I continue to be driven by creative passion in everything I do.
Sincere and adaptable, I strive as an artist and designer to create with unwavering attention to detail, authenticity and a tailored approach. Leveraging a visual perspective to solve problems in both creative and practical contexts, I work to ensure that every project reflects the unique vision and identity it needs. Inspired by the principles of vintage design, I blend classic techniques with a modern, personal twist to produce designs that resonate.

What?
Dino Design is my personal brand that I created as a way of expressing my authentic self in my professional career. Over the many years I’ve been sharing my work online, I never used my real name until I was an adult. Although I do really like my name, I felt my presence could feel a bit more special, more “me”. So I created Dino Design, inspired by life-long love of dinosaurs!
I created a brand mascot that is essentially what you could call my “dino-sona”. My mascot is a velociraptor (my favorite dinosaur) and serves as an exciting, memorable reprsentation of myself The mascot allows me to not only showcase my creative and design skills in a fun way, but also the values that I bring to each and every one of my projects!
Values I design by
Meticulous
Precision, professionalism, and satisfaction. I care about quality, and making sure all the work I do is the best it can be. I think of and notice things that many may not or think not important.
Authenticity
Trust and originality. I am open and honest, allowing more room for creative freedom. I look to innovate and not chase trends. I build genuine designs and I can connect on an emotional level to clients and audiences.
Adaptability
Ability to adjust to new conditions and challenges. I love problem solving and learning new skills, tools, and techniques. Meaning I can handle a larger variety of projects and tailor my approach to different clients.
